wow 22' looks to be the same length as 32'

12" must be below average at your house.

Your field notes/sketches could use some improvement grin

Of course if this is side work whilst enjoying ice cold brews disregard what I just said

Yes hence the chitty field note/sketch . I know the permit lady personally so I just had to give her something tangible basically as a formality.

Holy jeez. My projects aren't that big.

This house is an ongoing project.... or I should say the yard. The pond is at least somewhat done but going to be planting it with caladiums and other interesting plants as the season progresses.

I'm in the middle of turning the area between the greenhouse and the back fence into a vegetable garden. First step was killing and removing a bunch of overgrown holly, privet, and creeping fig. I THINK I've won the battle with the creeping fig. Maybe. At least on that side. Now just to dig out the stumps, replace the wooden fence, and then it will be time to install the fencing enclosure to keep the squirrels and mockingbirds out.

Got another bed we're yanking a bunch of overgrown bushes out of and replacing with a row of citrus trees.

The previous owner was older and had back surgery 5 years ago and couldn't take care of the outside. So it got very overgrown.

How big are the stumps ? Why donโ€™t you just burn them ?

They're right next to the greenhouse.

use briquettes, build fire in grill, move them to top of stump, cover with metal trash can set on bricks so air can get to the fire. smaller stumps just pile charcoal around them and put some from the grill on top of them, same with trash can.

epsom salt works too, drill a large hole in stump and fill with salt and some water, repeat in about 3-5 days. it rots them out pretty quick.
