Who has used one and how well do you like them? If you could compare it to something what would it be?
I watched a review that compared it to the NRX but it’s hard to believe.
Just looking for some real world opinions.

Thanks.

I picked up an expride spinning rod, on sale cheap a few years ago, wish I would have bought more.

I have a few GLX rods, that I think are slightly nicer.

Not sure what I would compare it to...I think you'll be happy with them

Same as Nick. I bought one on the half price rack at Southwest Service. I had an IMX that I “wanted to like”, but the Expride is better for me. I sold the IMX. The Expride I have is a Medium/Fast spinning rod that is 7’0”. I use it for skipping wacky rigged senkos under docks. I have caught many many big fish with it and never felt like it was not enough rod. It loads up well when casting and is very sensitive when using 20 lb braid and a 6’ 8 lb leader. I have used it heavily for 3 years now and the grip and epoxy on the rod are like new looking. Very well made rod.

I have 2. Both are medium heavy. I think one is 7'6 and one is little shorter. 2 of my favorite rods. I use the 7'6 for flipping heavy and tx rig deep. the shorter one I use for tx rig and finesse jigs. I'd buy more if I could

Have two spinning and two casting both are really nice pretty sensitive and light but its always depends on the reel you put with it.

I have one and really like it. It is light weight and very well balanced. I wouldn't compare it to the NRX though, but keep in mind, it is half the price of an NRX also. I think you would be pleased with it.

I am an admitted Loomis Rod Snob. Not hatin on the others. Just really prefer Loomis actions over the others so I have a bunch of IMX, GLX, & NRX, and even a couple Conquests. The Expride is a nice rod but it ain't in the same class as an NRX or even a GLX. I really like my Expride. I would put it between the IMX and the GLX as far as feel.

Just bought one for pitching in heavy cover. Looks nice and feels good in my hand. Haven't had it out on the water yet, so I'll let you know.

Great rods, especially when under retail during a sale or in the classifieds. It's definitely not a NRX, but neither is the price.

It's a fantastic rod. The 7'2 MH Glass rod is such an amazing chatterbait rod. The best I have ever thrown.
