When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England.

She's a lovely girl, with great big...tracts of land.

I used to live on McMillan Ave just North of Henderson in Dallas. Soon after Comerica Bank bought Merchants State Bank they decided to bring down the Merchants State Bank building at Ross and Henderson.
Same thing happened. A couple great big booms, the building shifted, some of it came down but most of it stayed up. The demo company wanted another shot at dropping it but it was determined it was too dangerous to let anyone in the building to set charges.
So out comes the big crane with a huge concrete and steel wrecking ball.and they start whacking away. It took a few weeks to get the majority of the building down but the big vaults just didn't want to give it up.

The Italian in me comes out whenever I view it.
