What do you think about this placement? Is it too low?

I basically put it where the lss2 was. It barely overhangs where it is, but is not below the lowest part of the ‘V’

Thanks

I have mine in a similar spot, but a little higher. I use a 2d to get on plane depth. I didn’t want a $300 transducer to be susceptible to stumps. Saying that, your location will work fine. I just don’t think it’s the safest spot for it.

I will send you a PM with my number, but questions I have are:

What Lowrance unit are you running?
Do you have a 2D sonar transducer in hull that you were using before?

Rob
