Sadly there are people on FB taking some shots at the guy. I guess since they can't catch that weight then no one can.

One of the first responses I got from a guy I respect when I shared the weight was "hope he didn't cheat".

RIGHT! For starters, nobody would go that far with a cheat. Nobody. He had the bag of a lifetime. That’s all it was. Any other response and it would have to be pure jealousy.

I will say this. If I was in 2nd, I’d feel good about losing to 40 lbs. lol. Nothing ya can do about that.
grin

Plus he really tried to get his coangler on some fish too. Gotta respect that.

Haha. He might not have even been able to get back on that spot if those eyes were watching him sat morning.

Seems like he should have been able to weigh his fish in early so they could get back in the lake, then have his coangler finish the day.

FLW BFL have been pretty bad about that. Preach fish care and then will
Make you wait until the exact minute scales open.

Think there was 40+ lb sack last summer by Albert Collins and Clayton B. I don't remember the exact weight.

Don't think anyone said his coangler zeroed. Would be interested as to what his co weighed in though. That would be the greatest case on “ front ending” in fishing history!

Co anglers have no rights. Co has probably already started beating spot to death and telling people where it's at
