Seems like swim baits would make for good drift jug fishing. Any of you ever tried it?

Never tried it, but it seems like you would get a lot of bycatch.

Not sure that would work well for catfish. I mean I have caught catfish on plastic worms, jigs, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits but that seems different than a swimbait just sitting there or very slowly drifting along.

In the cold water, I could see that working on sandies or hybrids, they will hammer a deadsticked plastic or jig.

Its an interesting idea though... give it a whirl and let us know!
