Anyone tried these out? I used onto be woe on Athens a few weeks ago and, at least for me, the action did not seem to be working properly. It felt like the blade was not vibrating like it was supposed to. This issue does not happen all the time, but I would say at least 50% of the time. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, is there anything I need to do to the bait to fix this problem?

Yes I've had the same issue on the bait. About every third or fourth cast you would have to pop it to get it to start vibrating.
Needless to say Its laying in the bottom of the boat now.

I use The originals. The glade has much less action. There are days that is better but the hook up also isn’t as good so I’d rather throw a cheap chatter bait original if I want A lot less action.

The thumper is good, didn't like the glade bait. Like Fish Killer said you have to snap it from time to time to get it working.

Had the same problem last year and reached out to Alex directly for help on correcting the issue. Actually met him on the water at Fork. Make sure the eyelet is clear and doesn’t have any paint clogging it up. For me, the most important thing he told me was to make sure the rod tip was pointing down. This seemed to correct the majority of the issues I was having, but like said above, from time to time you still have to pop it to make it activate.

I have had the same issue, however, I downsized the trailer, and, went to a slower reel to keep myself from going to fast and a little softer rod. That seemed to help a lot. When I feel it trying to dart, I will pop it or stop/start the reel, and it will start to vibrate again. I seem to get more bites when the action changes. Hope it helps.

Same issues as stated above. I cut mine off and it's in the bottom of the lake now.

Myself i like the glade bait . I use it on 15 pound Segar on a 5-1 reel. Never a Issue. If i try to use on a 7-1 its not a very dependable bait. Maybe the bait was designed to be slowed rolled.
