Hey y'all, new to TFF. I want to take the wife on a guided trip on LBJ or the surrounding area. Is this the correct Forum to start this conversation?

I agree with everyone else that Jess is the man for LBJ . He knows the lake better than anyone. Might take a while for everything to normalize after it fills but late spring should be good.

With LBJ water level lowered right now, you may want to consider going to Lake Granger about 1.5 hrs away. Tommy Tidwell is the guide you want. The fishing should pick up on Granger in March and Tommy can put you on the fish, plus he is a good mentor to learn from

Thank you, sir. I'll keep it in mind. I've heard good things about Granger. Been lurking for a while, and have seen post about the "Granger Gang". Duck hunted there 10-15 years ago. Lots of divers.
