Myself with friends Jeff and Steve fished one of our favorite areas from daylight to 2pm. We fished by marked brush piles and docks. Only saw three other boats the whole time.
Caught a BUNCH of crappie and some nice Bluegill. Jigs Chartreuse/Purple, and Yellow/Red got the best results. Fish were caught in 15 to 20 feet of water. Most were released and a some
were kept for the dinner table. The winter bite is still going strong. The crappie are sagging for the upcoming spawn! A great winter bite is hard to beat. woot

I don't think it was ever closed. They added some more area to the danger zones on the river!

It was never closed. Just some more area added to the danger zones that are very clearly marked! The area I was fishing is not affected at all by any closer . woot
