The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Luke 6:22-23
22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you, insult you, and slander your name as evil because of the Son of Man.
23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy. Take note—your reward is great in heaven, for this is the way their ancestors used to treat the prophets.

Doesn't look anything like the guy I met for lunch a couple years back.

That's definitely not Shingles. Maybe a relative.

Is Shingles even out yet? I keep remembering the time there was an online OT intervention to keep him from offing himself in a Colorado hotel room. He sure had a lot people here who cared about his well being at that time. After things came out about his true self, I’ve since wondered if we were being played on that deal.

Doesn't look anything like the guy I met for lunch a couple years back. Did he promise you $25 hour to start, and a company truck, and a guaranteed 40 hours a week even during slow times? Like guaranteed base. All with no experience?!?

It was in Vegas I think. Either way I recall Derek knew he was a fake the whole time... told him at the time to do it! To not be a wussy and off himself.

Now that you mention it, i do recall Derek giving him some - what i thought at the time, was some real tough love stuff. Didn't sound like typical Derek advice. If he already had him pegged, that sure explains that.
