What is your preference and why ?

I converted to Seaguar from Sunline. It's not a world of difference but I do see a difference between Sunline Shooter and Seaguar Invisx when I'm cranking and flipping.

When Seaguar's Flipping fluorocarbon went on sale on Tacklewarehouse I bought some to flip bushes. I was impressed with it and felt it was more supple than Sunline's Flipping FC. Through last summer I went through a lot of 12# and 14# Shooter and when Seaguar Invisx went on sale, I wanted to try it. I found similar differences; it was a little more supple and it had great life.

I know the Invisx is more expensive than the shooter but I respool less often.

I haven't tried Seaguar's braid because I'm happy with Daiwa's Samurai braid and am not really interested in changing. I have fished Sunline's SX1 and FX2 and don't really care for them.

Seaguar Invisx. When Floro first became popular, I tried several and was disappointed with them all. I did my research and went to Invisx about 10 years ago. No reason to search any more. It's like the boat and truck comparisons. They all work to a certain degree. You just need to try them until your comfortable with it. I will say I'm not a huge fan of any other Seaguar product.

Tatsu is the best and obviously the price shows that. Sunline is better than the cheaper Seaguar though.

I use red label almost exclusively unless I need 17lb then I go to invisx. Red label in 15 and 20 with line conditioner is pretty solid

I have a lot of experience with Seaguar, less with Sunline. I use Seaguar Invisx on the majority of my setups (either 12 or 20). Invisx feels virtually invisible at times and has a noticeable difference when compared to mono and lower quality fluros in clear water. Pretty manageable and has good abrasion resistance. Also worth noting that Invisx has a fair amount of stretch for a fluro... not a negative imo especially when cranking or finesse fishing, but it is a preference thing for some people when talking flurocarbon.

On the Sunline side of things, I've tried the higher test of their FC Sniper line (30) for big swimbaits and their Defier Armilo (17-19) mono for topwater and have been satisfied with both. FC Sniper has exceptional knot strength and not a lot of stretch. It's a high quality line for sure, but I think it's a little less sensitive and a little more visible than Invisx (admittedly I need more time using it to really say for certain). I am very happy with Armilo, and have zero interest in searching for any other kind of mono. Very strong, very castable low stretch mono

I use both invisx and fc sniper
I prefer the level wound seagaur but dont want to buy 200yd spools
After having a few bad spools of seagaur and finding there are knock offs out there
Caused me to look for other options big fan of the fc sniper for jigs texas rigs etc..
Still throw invisx on cranks and weightless stuff
Seems the sniper is stiffer and more abrasion resistant buy the invisx is more flexible and has a bit more stretch
Just depends what your after

If you’re looking t try expensive fluorocarbon... don’t leave out Gamma.

Overall I prefer Seaguar to Sunline. Took me a little while to figure out that Sniper is pretty under-rated for their lb test rating. Sniper 20 is more like 15-17 Invizx. Lately I've found myself buying more Berkley 100% professional grade Fluoro, I prefer it to either of the 2 above.

Some random abrasion issues with Invizx that I haven't experienced with Sunline Sniper. As b00stin4 mentioned, there are Seaguar knockoffs on the market and I have fallen victim to it before via Amazon. The big difference for me is the Invizx has a lot more stretch to it than FC Sniper and personally, I do not like that extra stretch. I think both are quality lines, just slightly different and it ultimately comes down to personal preference. I have all the confidence in the world with Sniper so that is what I throw.

I use Seaguar Abrazix and Sunline Assassin.

Those 2 lines fit the style of fishing I do.

I went sunline for a little over a year, right back to seagaur.

I tried invisx awhile ago but I guess I got some bad runs of it because it sure broke easy. Went to Trilene 100% flouro and it is the strongest I have found flouro. Its a bit more stiff and it seems to develop a white color after not too many trips. I am trying invisx again and am liking it a lot. I have about decided for flipping use Trilene and everything else Invisx. I didn't like the sunline at all.
