My point was, that you always get the worst of it when you retaliate. Rudy Tomjanovich doesn't really agree with this! Tough one....1977. Watched the game.

What he did was obviously wrong and bad, but I honestly believe that QB crossed the line and Pouncey got off light. I know this is a odd question but what started the whole thing, late hit, words said to each other, what? The initial reaction by the league and Goodell was knee jerk and reactionary to appease the media. Rudolph kicked Garrett in the groin before Garret attempted to pull his helmet off. Leave it on the field and let the rules in place be the guide. Oh by the way...Stephen A. Smith is an idiot.
