Ok somebody help me understand this these guys can’t even talk about their day when off the water but one anglers observer can communicate with another and tell everybody what leader is catching em on

Not so fast! These guys might regret inviting Thrift to fish with them... Thrift is going to school these boys, take a whole bunch of their money, and then move on to the tour where he can see, feel, & receive the fan attention he got used to when he was dominating the FLW. Maybe your baseball rolled under the couch. Have you looked there?

Cliff Notes: Here's what would seem to make the most sense to me: Another competitor, not Ott, somehow overheard that Wheeler was cranking to catch them. If only that competitor knew, it would be unfair. Therefore, the director has all boat officials tell all competitors the same information that the original competitor heard to make it fair. The camera happened to be live on Ott when that communication came out. Sucks for Wheeler, but there have been several instances of this type of thing happening when a non-competitor gives a competitor some information.

So is it common for this to happen captain know it all One of the anglers heard someone in studio say that Wheeler was catching them on cranks. The MLF brass decided the most fair way to handle the situation was to tell every other competitor. MLF grass texted each boat official and told them to tell their anglers the same thing that was heard by the one by accident. No, it is not common. It is also not a conspiracy.

Ok thx duck hunter thrift moving over gives me reason to watch this stuff now. It’s not all that bad except the tournaments take like a week...lol and would like it better if everybody fished every day with same conditions

I agree, it’s weird that some guys sit while others fish and then they flip flop. That’s one of my issues. It also is weird that the no info rule is so strict (and groups fishing different days makes it even harder). I think no info rules are silly in general (and that’s an unpopular opinion) but over a six day tournament, telling these guys they can’t talk to each other about anything happening on the water, and making them sit out days, and six day tournaments, would be torture. And then they have to probably stay off social media, or be careful what they talk about with family members. A lot of them are friends, and you’re hanging out, maybe having a beer, for six nights. And you can’t talk about anything? It would be very boring and very hard. Seems ridiculous to me. But I like the way they handled the issue this week by telling every angler what was overheard. Fairest way to handle it.
