I had no clue that the Monopoly games were rigged. This is a documentary on HBO about the investigation of the game my family played for years in the 90’s. Actually a pretty good watch. Did y’all know it was rigged?

Yea I just saw the preview waiting on The Outsider. I read about the McDonald’s deal a while back. Like 3 or 4 years ago. Definitely going to watch.

My wife plays that stupid game, getting the things from Tom Thumb (I think). She won a pack of hamburger buns the other day and you would have thought she hit a thousand dollar scratch off. We won’t even use the cheap arsed buns

My wife plays that stupid game, getting the things from Tom Thumb (I think). She won a pack of hamburger buns the other day and you would have thought she hit a thousand dollar scratch off. We won’t even use the cheap arsed buns Wow, that’s interesting. Didn’t realize the game even still existed. Don’t eat there much anymore. What’s really crazy is there is a bakery in Pelahatchie MS that makes nothing but the buns for McDonald’s. I worked with some of their former employees that said the place seemed like it was run by the mob.

How exactly was it rigged? Can I have the cliff notes of the show? Not sure as of yet. The FBI had determined the winners were all related. How we don't know yet. They made it appear last night that the marketing company that McD's used for the game had something to do with it. McD's was apparently clueless...

I worked the front counter at McDonalds at the time of the lottery
The individual stores received huge 40lb boxes of loose tickets
I can only guess how many of those boxes went missing or were never delivered.
It wasn’t until the third year of the lottery game when the tickets were attached to the cups and French fry containers
