We made this sub-forum of Bass Fishing for a few reasons. One of the main reasons is when you have 2 companies battling it out like we do right now. Is it time to move all plugs & announcements to the forum they belong in?

We have given these larger companies the leeway to post in the regular bass forum that we normally only allow our advertisers/sponsors. We did it because they are such a large part of the sport. I guess that was a mistake, because they are both acting like two small regional tackle companies battling it out. I have always told the companies that got in to disputes like this to take the high road. People aren't stupid and they figure out who is behind accounts. Taking the high road always makes you look better. When two people are wrestling in the mud, both get dirty.

Maybe one official thread for each event started by a mod in bass and all the other drama threads to plugs? Even at that though it would be hard to keep the thread clean of all the jabs, so maybe that is not even worth it.
