I told the wife yesterday..if I'm still breathing this time next year, we are going to the 500. She's always excited when NASCAR begins each year. We usually go to TMS in November and during the early summer, we watch the Indy cars at TMS. I like to sit near Turn 4. Those of you that have been to Daytona please chime in a tell me about the sitting there. If you look at the chart seating, where would be a good place to park it near the Pit Entrance/Turn 4 (PL ?, Row etc.) .

Not sure about where to sit but it sounds like a hell of a trip! Have a good time!

I've lost my interest in most NASCAR races. Well always watch Daytona, Talladega, and the road races, Sanoma and Watkins Glen

I got the my daughter and her boyfriend tickets last year and they loved it. They live in Tampa so of course it wasn't a bad commute for them. They did say they had a hard time finding hotels nearby so they went to Orlando instead and stayed in a happening place near the theme parks and went out during the nights they were away.

I also got them the NASCAR experience package that gives you access before the race and they really enjoyed that too.

They sat in the 2nd row near the entry to pit lane and had no issues with the seats. They also rented the headsets so they could listen in to the various teams and they say that helped a lot to keep track of what was going on.
