Met up and fished with "Catfish Kelly" today and caught a few! Only two fish all day (and a duck, multi-species action LOL) but they were good'ns! Thanks again Kelly for the invite and the turkey sandwiches food

First fish of the day was this chunky Common! She went 24lbs even and came in at 33.5in long. Lovely fish!

Surprise Blue Catfish! 11lbs 4oz

Wished we'd have caught more but it's hard to complain with a 20+ Carp coming out for us. Looking forward to fishing with you again sir fish

Beautiful fish. Should have taken a pic of the duck. Do you need a combo license for those incidental duck catches? My oldest threw a weightless worm near some canada geese one day and one of them dove down and picked it up. 5 seconds later all hell broke loose and for a while he was flying a living kite. Somehow we manged to get it out of the air and eventually released a very mad bird. Wish i had a video.

LOL that's insane! I've never hooked a bird big enough to actually take flight. I've taken photos of ducks I've caught before and only do so now if it's a different species or looks interesting. They can be a bit nippy!
