was watching the live streaming on Eufaula...do they have a cameraman in every contestants boat or just a mounted camera and the fisherman has a microphone where they can communicate with him....does each contestant have a marshall to weigh his fish?

I think they have 10 camera men and 2 camera boats. Also during the time between periods they sometimes move camera men around between the anglers.

Yes, each contestant has a marshal to weigh their fish, assess penalties, etc.

Not sure what this comment is about. since B.A.S.S. and MLF instituted the use of marshals,probably less than 1% have been women...the comment was an observation that the contestants marshall was female.....nothing more,nothing less...

MLF guys are more of a paid officials/referee, marshalls in BASS actually pay to spend the day in the boat with the pro.

On the internet, when people use ellipsis (the ... that you used) it connotes a certain feeling. When you say something of fact, and then say, “I'm pretty sure the marshal is a woman,” it sounds like you’re questioning why there is a woman weighing fish in a tournament. I guess the question is, since you brought it up, why does the gender of the marshal matter? And why bring it up?

Guess the only time it would matter is when the angler needs to drain the weasel. I know plenty of old guys that would refuse to do this.

If these women have husbands, they know what has to happen beforehand. I’m sure the anglers don’t care is the ladies don’t. Just turn away. Not much different that female reporters in male locker rooms
