 Where to bass fish around Dallas

I'm driving up to Carrollton from Houston on Wednesday to pick up something I'm buying on marketplace. Not bringing the big boat, just bring my little bass raider with a trolling motor to fish somewhere for a bit
Which lake would yall recommend along with a good place to put in maybe up in a creek somewhere thats protected? I cant go far in my bass raider. Never have fished around Dallas. Also considering Richland Chambers because it's on the way home..
I'd also prefer for the parking to be safe as I'm going to have some expensive equipment in the cab of the truck...

be careful with your equipment wherever you choose. boat ramps are high theft traffic areas.

be careful with your equipment wherever you choose. boat ramps are high theft traffic areas. Which is why I'm asking if theres one with security maybe? If anyone knows what a Marshall half stack guitar amp is then they'll know to break in and take it. I'm gonna cover them with a blanket but if theres anywhere with a monitored parking lot that'd be great

bradnitro- I'm gonna fish while I can up there.. If I was bringing the big boat then yeah I'd reconsider. But my bass raider I just throw in the bed of the truck. No big deal. I cant meet up with my dude until the afternoon/evening so might as well head up there early and fish some

I'm going to guess Fisher road ramp would be ideal? Looks protected to me Whiterock is small enough, any of the ramps should be fine.

Don’t listen to hear guys about white rock or Bachman. You’ll lose your stack. Just hit a lake closer to Houston cuz the water will be warmer. DFW lakes are cold right now.

I wouldn't waste my time at Bachman.
Its noisy with the jets overhead. Not fun at all.
Your chances of break in at the only ramp are very high, especially if you have valuables visible.
