In about 1975, a friend and I drove from Dallas to Lake Guerrero. Towed a boat, camped out for a week, and caught hundreds of fish. I wouldn’t even consider it today, but it made great memories. Hope you guys have a great trip.

David, do you know is that statue a particular native person, or just a generic representation of their ceremonies?
I have sure enjoyed your travels so far and hope you guys wear them out.

Thanks for the pics David. Gives us a chance to enjoy the trip thru your eyes. Have thought about making this trip with Don and just never pulled the trigger.
I hope ya’ll have a great time and catch a lot of fish.

back in late 70's early 80's we would drive from Columbus,Ga to lake Guerrero in mexico...1400 miles each way...fishing was fantastic and banditos/drug dealers were unheard of....made numerous trips to falcon from south Georgia plus last 4 years have gone to picachos,el salto and comedero…..
guess it depends on how much you like to catch fish and travel....
