I figure those who follow the I wish I were still a pro series don’t know what that kind of thing is because there is no draw or reason to go to the event, so here is short description.

The Bassmaster Elite Series Outdoors Expo will be open at 2 p.m. ET on Friday at Palatka Riverfront Park. Fans will be able to meet their favorite Elite Series pros for autographs, photos and to share stories.

Looks like the BPT gets an opportunity for some big viewer numbers today. Hopefully they have their technical issues all fixed to take advantage of the BASS stall.

How can I watch BPT? What does that stand for again? I am the best bass fisherman I know but I am not into this tourney stuff but want to get into it.

Which is the best one to follow? MLF is popular right? I know BASS, I was super happy to be a member when I was like 13 and got that patch... now I am not a member and dont much follow it at all.

FLW is the wal-mart tour right? Always thought that was like BASS light, like Busch racing compared to cup racing.

Anyways, I want to learn about all of these. Please drop knowledge.

I like watching any fishing I can watch when I have the chance, I just couldn't resist.

Someone with the alleged professional fishing bass derby currently at St. John’s River google Bass Champs, then scroll down until you see the heading “Contact us”, then get your cell phone and dial that number and when they pick up ask for Chad. They may or may not be able to fill you in on how to trailer for a tournament in windy conditions, as they do this regularly I’ve heard, with non professional type fisher people tournaments, that way you don’t have to cancel the events. Its a freaking river not Toledo Bend or Erie, its a WSW wind on a N/S river and 60°. Run the left side, my lord is there only one ramp. Puh seas. Ima be watching BPT, hopefully they will fish in inclement weather where everyone has to adjust accordingly and makes for better suspense.

Anyone fish St. John before? I’m trying to understand how strong winds can lead to tournament cancellation on a river? I understand there are some bigger lakes connected but no one is forced to head to those.

The river is over a mile wide. Up to seven miles wide. Also has a big tide that will stack waves up.

Kinda surprised they didn't relocate it, they've done it before. My dad is down there and he's fishing on a different lake just down the road.

I think the big problem is loss of insurance coverage when there is a red flag warning.
