3/0 Owner straight shank or a 3/0 Beast


Use a piece of heat shrink tubing to make a bait keeper on straight shanks that don't come with them

I use offset round bend. Baits wonโ€™t last as long if that matters to you.

Had a partner clue me in on this hook a long time ago. I'm the only one I know that uses it but I love them. 3/0 on most things but 4-5/0 on big worms, full size brush hogs etc. I use an EWG on Flukes and occasionally on a bulkier worm. The design on these hooks tends to double hook them, through and through. There are times I wish they were a little stouter, as I've bent a few, but overall, it's my go to.

That's a cool looking hook. May want to try them out.
