I haven’t been on the lake since early spring of last year. Was gonna take my dad out for a day of fishing, I know I read somewhere they’ve been spraying the grass out there. Not looking for spots or anything cause I have my places I like to fish out there. Just wondering if anyone has done any good. Thanks guys

Exactly. What are they spraying? It's been dead and gone for years.

Its dead Jim.

Better spray some more just to be sure. We wouldn't want that dingy water getting filtered and cleared up any by that mean ol' grass.

Man...Cypress was great before they killed the grass!! Could always catch 'em on a jig in the grass!

Last year it looked like they sprayed the pads too. Couldn't even find stems. Grass was gone before I started fishing there 10 years ago

I fish Cypress Springs at least 125 days a year. If you are talking hydrilla or anything similar, I assure you it is not there! Now the lilly pads seem to be gone, we will wait and see if they come back in late spring. Fished it yesterday in the warmer weather, still very tough only small buck bass scattered about for me. Don't know where they are staging, week before last I actually caught two keepers up a creek, sdo who knows.
