Skip you stated that the head in this picture is gold plated. Where can you buy gold plated jigs?

Leland lures and Arkie jigs also make a gold plated jig head.

It's hard to get them for a reasonable price. I got them a good many years ago and there was a guy sending out heads to be plated Gold, Nickel or even Black Nickel and I was able to get in for low cost getting a lot of my Roadrunner heads plated and at the same time I bought a bunch of plated round heads from him. Thankfully I still have a bunch of Roadrunner and Pony heads plated in Gold and Nickel. Don't want to run out. Back then I got the Nickel plated heads so reasonable I used them a lot of the time when I tried a combo that needed a Silver head, but I stopped that at some point and just stashed them back.

I also got a lot of 1/8 Gold Plated heads from someone for really cheap, but I have not tried fishing them yet because the Sickle hooks in them bend easier than they are suppose to. I don't know what I will do with them until I actually fish with one to see how it does on fish, but am pretty sure if snagged it will bend to get loose, lol!

I know there are some that sell Gold Plated heads, but not sure about Sickles. Barlow's use to sell them too, but in Regular bend hooks.

PS one more note about Gold Plated heads and candy colors. The Candy Yellow always comes out a shade of Green unless it's over a Gold Plated head.

Well Dang I couldn't find a tied jig and I have done a lot, so I did find what I think has a pic of a Candy Yellow over Gold.

Top Right.

Skip you got me to thinking, which is unusal. When my son built his last racecar instead of powder coating a lot of bolt on stuff he
had it nickel plated. All of that stuff looked great. So I am going to check to see if that guy does gold plating and see what it costs.
I have a few thousand Matzuo sickles so I can pour my own heads.

If you have access to someone that can plate, I would think he can do what ever you need, but think the big thing will be how much you are going to get plated. I am pretty sure there will be some kind of batch size or some kind of limit for it to be reasonable. Maybe even check to see if anyone else wants to join in with you to have some of theirs done? Just a thought.

I do like my Nickel and Gold plated heads a lot! I do wish the person getting them plated took as much time as I did on my Roadrunner and Pony heads. I made sure they were all clean and ready where some of the plated heads have a little of the extra lead around the seam and after it's plated, that has to stay. So make sure you clean your heads before they go to the guy!
