OP BOB HOLMES GS Extreme Angler Joined: May 2003 Posts: 1,491 redoak tex	My fishing slowed down enough to take a little time off. My wife and I like to slip away to the mountains and just hang out watching the wildlife for a few days! We're back now and the boys on the lake were telling me the sandbass have gotten really slow. The catfish are ok on baited spots but myself I like to hit the lake with a little shad and locate them in different spots. Let's let these really cold days get out of here and I believe things will change again. We've already caught more sandbass and hybrids this winter than we have in years so I'm expecting a great season. GETTING EXCITED for the spring!
