Big-O? I'll hold my breath until he comes in with his insightful opinion. Of course he will be ignoring al questions with any validity thrown his way. Let's be strait on that before hand.

Good for MLF.. im curious if Toyota is spreading out their advertising funds allocated to fishing across BASS and MLF or if they are bringing in additional funds.
My big question regarding sponsorship for fishing is related to viewership and the value. This will probably be a dumb question for marketing folks, as i am definitely not one. So we hear MLF go on and on about how many viewers they have and how they are gaining viewers among non fisherman. So if I am an endemic sponsor would i rather market through BASS who may have 80,000 viewers and 20% are potential customers (16,000) or through MLF who may have 200,000 viewers but only 5% are potential customers (10,000)???... obviously those number are made up, but if i am an endemic sponsor, just looking at total viewers should not be the only thing taken into account when making a decision which company to allocate funds too..

I thought Toyota was always a sponsor of MLF and FLW in some capacity. It seemed all the wrapped trucks were Toyota’s, I figured there was some sort of deal there? If they were existing sponsor that is just continuing then why the regurgitated fan fare? I know they sponsor BASS too... amongst just about every other sport.

Well, they’ve wasted their marketing money then, because I am sure I wasn’t the only one who noticed all those wrapped Tundra’s In the parade through the imaginary crowds on event days to the announcers stage. For as many that seemingly were there, I figured Toyota was heavily involved and giving them to the anglers to use for the season... kinda like the boat manufactures do.

I could be wrong but sponsoring an angler is different than sponsoring a trail.

Toyota is massive In its marketing spending, they seemingly have some sponsorship ties in everything sports related. But in comparison, they probably have more marketing budget tied up in just one (of the several) NASCAR teams than all of fishing combined.
