I had a similar issue and went to Ideal Feet, I got some inserts and I haven't had an issue in over 10 yrs. I tried some when I was on AD that hurt worse than not using them but these have been a blessing

Thanks Texasbass1, how long did it take before you got some relief?
Were the inserts the Dr. Scholl's kind, or actual plastic arch/heel support inserts.

I deal with plantar fasciitis too. Not fun at all. A good thing to help stretching is a lacrosse ball. A tennis ball can work as well, but the lacrosse ball is a hard rubber that grips your foot and the floor and is easier to get pressure in the right spot.

Mine will still occasionally flare up when I wear flip flops or thin soled shoes. Stick to sturdy soles with adequate arch support.
