Does anyone recognize this material that is used in place of the feathers. If so where might I purchase said material?
Not sure I like it but I am willing to try anything, well within reason anyway.
Thanks

No its a legit tying material. I was told it comes in tabs and that each tab will tie 2 jigs. Now this is second hand info but I
do believe the guy that told me that.

There are so many that look very close to this and without a name to look for, maybe just try to get close and also it looks like it was tied pretty sparse so I would probably try to make sure I didn't over do how much I used on my ties. I just started looking for this fringe stuff I have some of, but looking for it I see several things I had forgot about that I want to try on a jig, lol!

Go to Hareline website and get their app so you can look up all they have. I wouldn't pay attention to their stated retail price on there though as it's not what I see or use, then you can check out these items or may you can find them elsewhere for a pic.

Hareline has several things kind of like this Pseudo Marabou
Senyo's Predator Wrap
Baitfish Emulator Flash (I have some here if I can find it)
Other than these there are a lot of fiber type flash things around, but unless someone knows just what it really is, it may be hard to find that particular one!

I do not understand the tab's thing your talking about so if you find out please let us know what it is.

Skip a tab is what holds the material together before you use it. You cut what you need and the rest stays together.
I am adding a pic that shows the tabs on the end of the material. This is not what I am looking for but it shows the tabs.
The reason we don't know what the material is, is because the person that was tying the jigs is keeping it secret even though
he is no longer tying anymore.

Its not flash. I know it does resemble it but that's not what it is. It comes attached to a tab at the end and what you see how long it is.
You can cut the tab in two and have enough for 2 jigs.

I have never seen flash type material in tabs like that. I have bought a lot of Silicone that looks like that. Have a bunch and as always bought way more than I will every use.

While I was typing the above it hit me that maybe just maybe it was silicone skirt material? So I looked at my huge pile of skirt material and found this which kind of looks close which make me think if you look good they probably have any kind of clear sparkle types there.

Here is a pic of one of mine.

Guys thanks for all the help and ideas. I have finally got a guy bringing me a complete piece that has never been cut. The folks at Hareline have told me if I will send it to them they will see if they recognize it.
