Hey folks. I’m curious on what people spend on yearly or every other year maintenance On the Yamaha Vmax 250. Because it’s a 250, does it require more maintenance than a 150 or 200? Also, do 4-strokes require more attention than 2-strokes?
Thanks guys.

Any V6 of same design will cost about the same to maintain. Four stroke is about the same, just different needs.
It all depends on where and how it's being used. A freshwater used motor doesn't require the vigilance of a saltwater flats boat.

I just got done doing all the filters on my VZ225, all 14 of them. That just seems like over engineering in order to sell parts, but from what I understand, if you don't do it you are inviting disaster.
Luck will beat skill any time you have enough of it!
