I don't understand the need to bash/promote under a screen name or pose as a regular forum member.

Everything I have posted has been found on the internet. What you may deem promotional has been nothing more than countering disingenuous information often espoused by folks who run with half information. As stated, all information rendered by Macho is public information. Just following the talkers in the industry and seeking the real story. Macho has equal admiration for BASS & FLW. If the mud was slung at them, I’d say so too. Granted, sometimes it may come across with a little sarcastic comment, but the often posted “theories” and accusations are comical at times themselves. Macho has nothing to sell here.

Odd's of it being the same weekend as the Classic? Kind of defeating the purpose I would think. Hope not I would like to watch both

Hope not I would like to watch both I watch both as well and if they do stack the RedCrest on top of the Classic it would be a pretty sad way to handle it. Until they figure out a better way to do a large expo type deal and have increased crowd inters=action I honestly think they would get killed ratings wise if on same weekend. There is zero need to do that. Have your event stand alone on its own in its own timeslot. Both organizations will learn quickly that the fans will tire of any bickering, continued drama and Bs and tune them both out. Making fans choose would not be smart.

Maybe have it the first of the season the the tour after possibly would be cool.

Hopefully it will be just before or just after. That way sponsors have time to go from one to the other and fans can watch both.

I for one am thankful for Big O's McGruff the Crime Dog work on this. So glad they recovered the lost prize purse...

MLF is following B.A.S.S. foot prints . FLW did too. Mr Ray Scott created the platform and it hadn’t changed a helluva lot in 53 years. Still catch and weigh. The most weight still wins

Hopefully those organizations keep remembering that they share the same customer base in a lot of ways. I am kinda curious what and how the BPT anglers will be able to say at the Classic. I wonder if they will be allowed to have BPT logos on their jerseys etc while working the Classic Expo. I think its reasonable for BASS to request that they not.

Trying to compete the with the Classic? Redcrest will never be anywhere close to what the Classic is. You might end up hindering your competitors ability to work the Classic, which will in turn hurt their sponsorship obligations. Bad look from BPT. Pure little man syndrome You will never replace the Classic, nor will you ever be able to put on the kind of show they put on.

Just because they changed the date on the calendar for the 2021 season does not make the monies slated for the 2020 Championship tournament reappear. Someone is getting away with stripping a years worth of championship purse money away from the anglers.
