Lots of stocking history of Hybrids at Medina since the lake level has been back up.

Amistad has a long history of striped bass stocking.

Anybody on here gone out and done thumping at either lake? I am close to Amistad and kinda' not too far away from Medina but have not had luck at either...I have not thumped either, so looking for experienced folks.

Thanks,

sb

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

You won’t need a thumper... south tx fish are already running up rivers to spawn. The Frio and Nueces are full of fish already.

Yea buddy I moved back to east tx. But man 3 years of chasing spawning fish in dec Jan had me spoiled. No dead sticking down there either. Not even on Canyon.
