The females move from bed to bed and what % of beds are visible and located where people can't fish for them, I would think a butt load and on clear water lakes many are way deeper than 7' many on Amistad bed in 15-25 foot of water. fish

The success rate of the spawn has very little impact on the bass population. Lets say in one cove there are 100 spawning females and 99 of them are prevented from successfully spawning, the one female that does spawn will have far more fry than the available food and cover can support. More babies doesn't mean more bass. What limits the population is the amount of cover and food. A single bass can spawn 7000 fry.

So if there's enough food and cover for a thousand bass to become adults then that's what you get. Whether you started with seven thousand fry or a hundred million fry is irrelevant.

I wonder if the same principal applies to deer season? I mean, the season opens right before the rut starts, and there are active bucks chasing does around, trying to have them listen to BARRY WHITE and get the mood right. But here comes Elmer Fudd, and instead of hunting rabbits, he is hunting DEER. And either that fine young doe that he was courting or himself gets a arrow through their shoulder, and now the evolution of life can not be regenerated......

IMHO...if there was an impact being done, well then there would be lakes all over the US, having a massive drought in fish being caught

This is just my comical approach and thoughts IMHOs

There was a Lake Fork guide that put three clients on the same bed fish, last year. On three different trips!

Does it affect? Is it affected? What are the effects of? Bed fishing affects the fisherman more than anything is affected by bed fiahing. But Bed Fishing Effects works!

Let me ask my wife...sheโ€™s a SPED teacher. Sheโ€™s smart, but canโ€™t fish.

Yep we discuss this every year, and one thing is for certain. As long as its legal we will all be fishing shallow during the Spring.
