What do you all prefer pill/asprin head jigs or the round ball head jig. Im leaning towards the pill head because you can add a stick eye or leave them off. The ball head if im understanding it right i would have to get two different molds one with the recessed eye spot and the plain.

You have to be careful using a hammer or pliers to flatten a jig head. Even with light pressure, the hook can loosen or the jig head split. Trust me, it happened so much to me I only buy pill head or jigs with recessed eyes. I powdercoat my own jigs and put 3D eyes on them.

Give me ball heads, all day long... No reason for using any other. Unpainted and no eyes of course.
