May have been a mercy killing and I am not totally against that but it was still a murder/suicide. Whether there was bankruptcy coming or not $110 million is a lot of debt to leave if accurate.

If you’re going to source something you should at least give context. The headline is more than misleading and 110 mil in debt is nothing to someone who had the wealth of Jacobs. The probate process is messy when there is disputes within the group of heirs, that’s why the courts halted estate sales that one sibling tried to organize. The court even found that an audit of the financial affairs did not support bankruptcy or that Jacobs estate was broke.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they take a public relations hit because of it... a company putting their brand behind an unethical organization never works out for the brands image. Many others recognized that and pulled out all together or significantly reduced their brands exposure to anything MLF related for that very reason.

Please elaborate what companies pulled out or back? Just curious, was there any announcements by them as to why?
