Just a billion more than Athens!! In all seriousness that lake was loaded with boats. I gotta say every team we encountered was sportsmanlike. Nobody cutting us off and I didn't see any other team cutting anyone else off. We shared water all day with other teams and we actually saw 3 good fish for Squaw(3-5 lbs) caught in close proximity and I am pretty sure 2 of those teams placed high or won, we didn't recognize them personally and disappointed we didn't catch any nice ones. Teams sitting on spots for hours on end and if you wanna go somewhere else it was the same deal.

Congrats to the winners and all who placed. It was more crowded than any Basschamps regular season tournament I have ever fished in.

So glad TTO will not be going back to Squaw. Alot of 2lbers out there for sure as the standings show, year after year.
Vaya con dios Squaw. I won't miss you or your $30 launch fees!!

Wish my club wasn't going out there in a couple weeks, but it is what it is.

Looks like the squaw creek hype is over. May we all have a moment of silence.

Nothing against the lake but I cannot stand fishing it on the weekends, our couples circuit fishes it every year, I would just as soon fish White Rock lake.

Lake needs to close down for another 10 years or it'll never get better.

Congrats to Chris and Pete!!! Those guys are always a threat out there, well deserved win. cheers

Tournament weights overall this year have been awful at Squaw. Crazy thing is 4 lb fish were there in November and fairly easy to catch several per trip, where did they go?

Thanks Buda

Being draw 104 out yesterday we didn’t have a starting game plan as we figured all of out stuff would be covered
Made a decision to run to a spot that was producing the last couple of months with the lower water levels
Sine the lake came up again the fish pulled back up on it And had four fish in the first 6 casts
Really a good feeling when you have 15 lbs in the boat in 15 minutes

Thanks Buda.

The big tournament win has eluded us for years out there! so happy to finally win one.
I would have rather won with 25 plus pounds like back in the day, but the lake has change dramatically over the last few years.

I will admit I was a little frustrated with the 104 draw, but having a good Wife/ team partner and team partner in Chris they both told me the same thing.
" it doesn't matter, just go do what yall/we do and catch fish"

that spot we caught them on has been dead for the last few months because of the low water, but I check it every trip.
they were there Saturday morning. it was a good day for decisions on our part.

I still like fishing the lake .
the crowds have gotten better with on the water etiquette.

now on to cold water lakes!
