Is this a joke? In Nov. of 2018 I caught 30 to 60 fish a day fishing solo. A bunch of real nice ones, biggest was 11 3/4 lbs, next biggest over 10.

Hard to believe it crashed that fast in 3 months.

I'll be there in a week and find out .

You mean 2019?

No. I was there in Nov. 2018. Fishing was so good that I swore I would return in November the next year (2019). But of course work got in the way.

The fish I caught were healthy and mean, tremendous fighters. I am not a crankbait junkie but I had a couple of days of fantastic fishing with them while I was there.

Headed to Baccarac mid Feb. Awesome lake for BIG bass. Last trip was November. Biggest fish was a 10.2, 9 1/2, 9 lbs plus numerous eights. Best baits were Keitech underspins, 3/4 oz. swingheads with 7" senkos and 3/4 oz. jigs. Stayed at Doug Kings Pro Adventures Lodge. Great facility, good food, great guides. No nets to deal with!

Was there really a minor fish kill there? I keep hearing conflicting stories. I have reservations but between the cartel problems last week and the possible fish kill, Iā€™m not sure.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I put a deposit down that I will lose but Iā€™d rather lose it and go to Picachos where I heard the fishing was really good.
Any other advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
