Richland Chambers is producing lots of "Eaters" and an occasional Big Blue. We continue to fish the timber along the Richland Arm of the Lake in water depths from 22'-30' FOW. Danny Kings Blood Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble is the key to a box of Blues and Channels and a good Fish Fry. Just look for the Birds and the Bait. Fished with Max & Martha from Brenham on Friday Afternoon and the Youngsters (Max is 88 and Martha is 82) did well. Their little girl Donna joined them. Fished a baited hole on the Richland Creek Channel in 25' FOW and had a number of nice Blues & Channels and one Slot Fish. All on DK's Blood Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble fished on the bottom. The Folks have been fishing with us for almost 20 years and always fish an Afternoon Trip, spend the night at a Cabin at the Marina and then fish a Morning Trip. They like to fish one day with me and one day with Adam. Chilly, but nice both days & the fish cooperated. Doesn't get any better than Old Friends & a Day On the Water!
