Q 102 threw a Beach Party at Dallas City Hall one summer is 86 or 87. They had sand all over the place and people were swimming in the fountains. It was a party and back then drinking and driving was legal. sure that was the radio station and not a "march?"

I actually listened to all of them but Bo & Jim where on Q102 so it got most of my time. I also will throw in the Edge when it was 94.5FM.

went to one at tulsa fairgrounds in the 70s, edgar winter, leon russell, zz top, I think ac/dc and a couple of other name bands (I don't remember much past the zz top sets). 2 days, camped in front of the stage. rode a sportster from okiecity up and back. sex, drugs and rocknroll baby! You went to a Texas jam in Tulsa? okie jam of some name or another, pretty sure same producer did texas then that one along with others. lots of "jams" back then
