Had some work done on the boat, one of the issues was a ding in the prop. The shop said they could get the prop sent out to get the ding fixed. After I got the boat back I noticed that I had to baby it out of the hole to get on plane where before it was just a matter of having the boat in gear and give it throttle and it shot out of the hole and was on plane. I also have dropped 6 to 7 mph on the top end.
You can see where the leading on the prop edge was trimmed/ground down reducing surface area on the blades.
Anybody know if there is a fix short of buying a new prop, not sure about trying to buy a used prop. I already have one of those!

that kind of so called prop work always ticked me off to no end.

it's pure laziness to just grind the leading edge down instead of welding it and re finishing it and doing the cup work, and getting the
pitch corrected. whoever your shop uses, should get refunded and you should be given a new prop or at least they should pay to
have the prop repaired correctly.... if it's even possible now.
