Wife got me an Ultrex for Christmas. 😁😁. My question is I have Lowrance hds9 gen3 units in my Skeeter. Can they be used together. If not that’s okay. I’ve read that they only work with hummingbird.

I have Lowrance graphs with an Ultrex. They make an adapter to use the US2 sonar with the Lowrance, but that is it as for compatibility. The spot lock and trails and saved spot locks still works, but you will need to use the remote for some features. No big deal. Most of the things that “link” with humminbird graphs is kinda useless. The follow contours is lots of fun, specially in stumps and around docks. Lol. CRASH BANG BOOM! I had Helix graphs and got rid of them for Lowrance. Best of both worlds now.

My Motorguide Xi5 will hold a precise position in any depth I've come across so far. (I fish offshore out of Pensacola in 150 ft of water and it works great) As far as follow the contour, that's only as good as your lake chip. You CAN add a series of waypoints and have the motor follow those. It also has a route playback option that may work for what you're talking about.
