Is the main lake on both sides open for running around? I can see plenty of timber in several pockets at low pool but not much elsewhere. Thanks in advance!

Clear to run main lake both sides. There is the island on the cold water side (West arm) and all pockets have a ton of timber. All pockets are trolling motor only.

I was there on Saturday, stay a long way out from the points as some are really shallow and run out a ways. As for the island on the cold water side there are a couple more on the dam side of the one you can see that are just under the water. Like others said above, it is safe to run in the middle of the lake. The Tilapia were up on beds and these are some of the biggest ones I have ever seen. Plan on going back with my bow fishing gear and try and reduce their numbers a bit.
