I know they catch fish this time of year . It has been a while since I threw one much. Looking in my box I seen a couple of Smithwick suspending rogue’s orange and black in color. What is another good one for this time of year .

Good bargain jerkbait that you will likely have to add a suspend strip on Storm twitch stick
The KVD ones are a little better also might need a suspend dot
The expensive megabass and lucky craft ones usually suspend well out of the box

Ok, but fair warning, once you catch that first giant on a jerkbait you're going to be dreaming of water under 50 degrees and buying every jerkbait under the sun. I'll pm you and try to talk you out of it, it's a horrible addiction.

I'm pretty partial to the Megabass Vision 110. It comes in many colors and models. Most of the time I use the standard 110 in mat shad.
Whatever brand you choose you do jot have to limit them to colder water. Tgey work great year round.

High End = Megabass 110, 100 +1
Mid End = Rick Clunn STX 4.5" Jerkbait
These 2 have put limits in my boat that cashed checks

There's no bad ones. Head to the gym first. Throwing one all day will wear you out.

I like the pro blue and some sort of ghost color this time of year. Get you a assortment of different brands to try-They all act different from one another. This one was a winner yesterday for me.

These two will get your arm broke......my all time favorite for high skies is LC Slender Pointer 97MR in Aurora Black and for cloudy days it is Vision 110 M Western Clown. They both suspend very well when you use the right line.
