Taking a New Jersey guy to welch Tuesday. Haven't been there in a couple years. How is the ramp after the rain? Heard it was sketchy before. Any pointers on what area of the lake to fish, I've only been in the north end. Baits to throw?
thanks

Welsh
Lake is low so ramp is a challenge, have to back way in and keep motor trimmed up to avoid sand bar.
Running is also interesting.
Iā€™d start with a c rig in the discharge and then do point jumping. Baby brush hogs and M Pack shads.
Good luck and be careful.

Welch is grape soda, it bubbles a lot and stains easily.
