noticed axtons at lake fork has new owners, look like lot of remodeling going on . anyone know who new owners are just curious.

From what I've heard a lot of RV space renters are POed.
Heard the lot spaces are going up from $1800 annually to $4800, not confirmed just hearsay.
Allen Sheehan is the new owner.
I know the lady that was running the diner at Lake Fork Resort is the new property manager at Axton's (Mascha Taylor) is her name.
I hope it does well!
I too liked the night tournaments Joe put on!
Also liked it when Jerry Dean would put on his big bass tournaments for Honey Hole there!

both have passed away now but several years ago,my brother owned Rollin Fork RV park and was friends with Joe Axton...My mother lived with my brother and when she passed away,the funeral was in Emory. We had several relatives in town for the funeral and several rented rooms at Axtons...when it came time for them to check out,Joe would not accept any payment....R.I.P. Mom,my brother Gordon and Joe Axton....

I went by there yesterday and their is definitely a lot of work / remodeling going on at the store / office area .

Many trashy old units in there around the back, may be trying to clean them off and do some improvements to the lakefront area?
Sure miss Joe...was blessed to have many cups of coffee with him in the morning, talking life and bass fishing
