This is Fox News and I know some of you have a problem with them, but the article needs to be seen to bring attention to US BANK.

It goes supposedly, customer needed $20.00 to buy gas to get home for Christmas. He had $1,000.00 in his account, that the bank had on hold for some inexplicable reason. She gave him $20.00 for gas (of her own money) and wished him Merry Christmas.

She and her Manager were fired from the Bank.

I saw that too. Definitely would want to move on from a place like that. I would bet the bad press will have the bank re-thinking their policy. Both ex employees should easily find work after this.

Even with her own money, that’s what the left wants pay attention folks

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

If the bank manager was smart he would have sent a letter to the local newspaper making known the kindness of his employees to this gentleman. No telling how much business this would have attracted. As it is his actions probably cost him customers and got him the nickname ahole. Oh well.

Must be a liability issue. If she had been injured or had injured someone while on the job the bank would have been liable. After all the state is run by and for the trial lawyers.

I’m not following you. How do you get injured giving someone 20 bucks?

She was given the approval to leave the workplace by her supervisor to run a work related errand, If she had an accident and was injured or the third party somehow harmed her she would have a tort, as would someone she harmed. Unfortunate but that is were we are. What else could it be?
