Has any fished Averoff Resevior out by Crystal City. It look to be a river lake on the Nueces River. I was just curious if anyone has any luck on it.

I have fished Averoff this past year. It is a part of the Nueces River that has dams on both ends. The boat ramp is steep. Plenty of overhanging tree limbs, a very deep channel with deep drop offs. There are also plenty of stick-ups. Averoff is a good fishery with plenty of Large Mouth Bass, Crappie, and some very big Channel Cats. There is also a great Mexican Restaurant in Batesville. Super food and worth the stop after a day on the water. Good luck.

Where is the boat ramp at. I saw one but it appeared to be up river somewhat.
