Hey guys, not going to ask where ya fish.. lol.. relax :P Just curious..
I have gone to the steps for years in Granger, as well as the bend, Willis etc. We live in Cedar Creek now and have always been curious about the area around Sommerville, TX. I heard about Yegua Creek etc, and it's a pretty long area. I would like to extend my experiences and try some new areas, but also want to figure out a ballpark area that is easy enough to access with a 10yr old boy and 12yr old girl... and if there is a place my wife can get to, she wears a prosthetic leg so the options may be limited. She may not be able to go, but she likes to go along and read...she does not fish heh. If she has to stay home, well.. she will be fine, she likes to read there too wink

Granger is fairly easy to get to, if you get there early enough. My brother says the males are already running, I assume due to the warmer weather. No idea about anything down this area. Creature of habit.. heh, but with an hour or more in each direction, not a big deal to expand my horizons.

Ideas? Don't need your honey hole.. heh, just a little guidance on different areas to take the family. Welcome to trade spots if you like fishing off the coast.. I am a map guy so, wink I also know Buch like the back of my hand, just not ready to drag the new boat up there.

Thanks!

Russ

Thanks Fen! Will check with the wife and see if the kiddos want to slide up there and see if we can locate any fish. I could go to my normal stomping grounds on Willis Creek up in Granger, but trying to expand my horizons.. heh. That being said.. some nice minnows and a few slab of crappie or whites sure would be nice. I am thinking it is too early, but.. who knows heh.
