Has anyone fished out there lately? I have no clue where they would be this time of year on that lake

I am still very new to CCL and really have not fished much last few years. Just getting back on the water, as I have a 13 year old that has decided he likes fishing. I pretty much parked my race car last summer, and started fishing a little. Trying to learn imaging electronics, etc.
We have been out three times since Christmas. Tried fishing the creeks a little, but water is down 2 1/2' from normal, and I dont know the creeks well. Fished the 334 bridge and caught a few... maybe just picked bad days, as others we talked to on the water were not doing much either. I watched a nice boat with a lot of big screens and two guys who acted like they knew what they were doing work the bridge for about an hour New Years Day, and never saw them catch a fish (I caught 1 while watching them).

Know this is not much help... hopefully others will jump in here and offer us all some good advice.

Good luck,
Ken

2014 Premier Alante 235 RF tritoon. Momma's boat. But I get to fish on her.

A country boy will survive... but those who cross him?

Yea, ole Chuck and crew are pretty good guys, to be sure. Personally, I am more partial to his better half though. Ole Chuck married well! Be sure and tell Laurie, Crapicat said hello, as you are making reservations!

Bite is strong on the Hwy 198 bridge on the Malakoff end fishing near the bottom in 20 feet of water.
