Hi, I'm new to fishing. I've only been fishing once or twice but I really love fishing. I'd like to go fishing with someone in Beaumont. I'd like to learn all about fishing seriously (because one of my new-year resolution is picking up a healthy, fun, meaningful hobby). I have some basic rods/ random tools/gears (sinkers, lines,...) from Walmart. I don't have a boat but I have a car. Hence, I usually fish from the bank. My spot was that stocked ponds near LNVA canal (Lucas Rd.). I'd like to explore new fishing spots. I also tried fishing on a boat. I love it but I can get a mild sea-sick. So, fishing on calm waters + Dramamine should be fine for me. I can split/share any expenses for the trip. I'm 28 years old if that matters much. I can fish basically after 5pm every day. If you want to fish in the morning, please let me know 24-hours in advanced, so, I can arrange my schedule. Thank you for reading this. I'm looking forward to hear from any of you soon.
