The lake has been fishing fantastic. Try finding points and sit the boat in 55-40 FOW. Slabs are good. You can find them deeper but it’s easier to catch them on the bottom as opposed to the middle of the water column. Get your thumper rolling and slow down your presentation. I’m using glitter shad slabs from RSR lures. I haven’t fished the lake since it started coming up over the weekend but I can’t imagine much has changed. Deep fish are not impacted as much this time of year when the lake rises

Edit: When the gates are wide open it can impact the fishing. Generally for the worst. I assume that Ray Roberts is now open and the trinity is rolling.
